The Cereal Killer

My daughter is going to hate me for this someday.

She’s been showing interest in utensils lately, so today I put her breakfast Kix in a plastic bowl and gave her a spoon, then set her on the living room floor with them. She did quite a bit of dipping the spoon in, which of course didn’t yield any cereal, but she looked quite pleased with herself all the same. I also gave her a whole plum, just to see what she’d do with it; as she lacks a.) top teeth and b.) molars, I was pretty curious what she could manage–she always manages to surprise me with what she can handle! After she’d finished with the cereal, she took the spoon and started poking the plum. Then she proceeded to chase it around the living room. (It rolls! Just like a ball!) I went to get my own breakfast and came back to find the following:

My cereal killer.

Blurry, but I love the expression on her face!

I guess we don’t need teeth after all!
